Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Hello! We are the Gamma Phi Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi at Seton Hall University. We were colonized at Seton Hall 8 years ago in November of 2014 and our sisterhood has continued to grow ever since. The sisters of Gamma Phi live by the motto “inspire ambition” everyday throughout our campus community. Our members are involved in a variety of campus activities like SGA, KNOW MORE, SHU Dance Team, Habitat For Humanity, Buccino Leaders, and so much more. Every member, regardless of if they are wearing their letters or not, represents what it means to be and AOII.As AOII’s we live our lives with the core values of our organization in mind: Character, Dignity, Scholarship, and College Loyalty. The sisters of Gamma Phi have celebrated in times of accomplishment, supported each other in times of crisis, and dedicated themselves wholly to our philanthropies. As a Chapter, Gamma Phi’s sisterhood has forever united us in dignity and grace. We are so proud of all of the work we have been able to accomplish this past year as we moved back into in-person programming. Philanthropically, we were able to raise over $2000 for the Arthritis Foundation through our signature event “Spike Out Arthritis” as well as create a brand new philanthropy event “Kick It For Kristen” to benefit the Epilepsy Foundation in honor of our sister Kristen McCartney where we raised $1,826.50! This year, our chapter was also awarded Excellence in Chapter Accountability, Greek Organization of the Year, Outstanding New Member (Morgan Hurlock), and Outstanding Chapter Advisor (Alyssa Morgan) for Seton Hall Greek Life Awards. We were also recognized by our International Headquarters for Excellence in Membership Experience, Excellence in Philanthropy and Service, Excellence in Programming and Enrichment, and Outstanding Executive Team. Our Chapter continues to build our legacy on Seton Hall’s campus each day and I am honored to have been elected as Gamma Phi’s Chapter President. I cannot wait to continue the growth started by our past presidents and officers this year. Our website is geared to show you an overview of the Gamma Phi chapter and what our sisterhood means to us. If you have any questions regarding Alpha Omicron Pi, Gamma Phi, or anything that we do, you can always feel free to reach out to me via email at chapterpresident.shuaoii@gmail.com. Roses,
